River paddling excursions and rentals

June 14, 19, & 28, July 12 & 26, and August 9

The Red River is a beautiful place to relax and get out on the water. Both Lindenwood Park and The Rental Shack at Viking Ship Park have rentals throughout the summer, and there will also be many river-themed events going on throughout the summer, including a Race the Red Canoe & Kayak Race and the River Paddling Excursions happening monthly!

Horse Racing *

America's favorite pastime makes an excellent summer evening out in Fargo, North Dakota. From fireworks to giveaways, the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks always have something fun going on during their games!

Outdoor Yoga *

Reach your spirit to the sky and join us for an outdoor, all-level yoga class! Yoga in the Park takes place each Wednesday in the summer at 6 p.m. This series is meant for 15+, with prize drawings given out every week.

There are two different options for Yoga in the Square on Mondays throughout the summer, the YMCA teaches a gentle yoga class over lunch at 12 p.m., and Downtown Yoga Fargo teaches a class for all levels in the evening at 5:30 p.m.

Yoga on the Lawn with Mojo Fit Studios is held at Essentia Health Plaza at The Lights every other Wednesday at 12 pm starting on June 21.

Grab your girls and head to Fargo for a weekend away. There are tons of new shops and restaurants throughout the metro area and multiple markets throughout the summer.

West Fargo Street Fair *

Fun concerts happen at the Bluestem Amphitheatre all summer long. From country music to hip-hop, you can sit under the wide-open sky as the sun sets behind the stage.

Red River Valley Fair *

Fargo Blues Festival *

If you're into Blues, or even if you aren't, hit up the Fargo Blues Festival. The venue, a baseball stadium, is a cool backdrop to one of the best blues festivals in the country, with 12 bands over 2 days.
