Day 1

Beer & Fish Company

Start the weekend off with some delicious seafood. Catch up with the ladies at Beer & Fish Company over beer & fish or fresh oysters in their unique spot in Roberts Alley. We recommend almost anything on their menu, but especially their oysters or tacos baja. Also, be sure to get a cocktail from their extensive drink menu.

They’re also doing take-out right now, so if you’re more into eating at home or your hotel, this can still be a good option. Just place an order on Bite Squad and you’ll be set.

Day 2

Young Blood Coffee Co.

For your first morning, Fargo’s craft coffee scene should be your first stop… and you can get more than caffeinated. The gourmet toast menu at Young Blood Coffee Co. will fill you up with something warm and (excuse the pun) toasty. Couple that with a hot cup of Joe and you’re ready to tackle your day.

Wine Tour

Fargo is surrounded by wineries, which makes a perfect outing for you and your gals. All serving decadent and unique wines in beautiful settings outside the city, you’re bound to find a favorite. Decide which ones to stop by, or head to them all and pick your top Fargo winery.

We offer a Red River Wine Trek, a passport program local wineries started to encourage visitation to all participating wineries. Stop by all of the wineries involved and get a stamp and then turn the passport into the Visitors Center for a free shirt!

Note: Participating wineries and hours are subject to change. Call the Visitor Center or each winery when creating your plan.

Stop by The Shoppes at Blu Water Creek

On your way back into town, a stop at The Shoppes at Blu Water Creek may be the best end to your afternoon. Located in South Fargo, stroll from Leela + Lavender, a gift boutique with fashion items and home decor to Willow District and Laurie’s, which both carry trendy women’s specialty clothing. You’ll also walk by Grain Designs, EcoChic, and Mcneal & Friends; all unique furniture and décor shops. Pick out a stylish new jumper and some summer décor to bring home.

32nd Ave & 45th St, Fargo

Grab lunch at The Tavern

The Tavern has something for everyone, with their build-your-own salads, burgers, and pizzas, you will all be able to find a meal you love. If you’re not into the BYO style, we recommend the pan-seared teriyaki salmon with jasmine rice and pineapple citrus salsa.

The Art Bar

Duration: 1.5 – 2 hours

Grab your gals and head to The Art Bar for an instructor-led painting party. There is even beer and wine available so you all can grab a beverage while you paint. Check their website for a calendar of the masterpiece you can create, or book a private party if you have a large group.

Rustica Eatery & Tavern

After your creative afternoon, you’re bound to need some munchies. Rustica is a great place to unwind after the big day and have some good food and maybe another glass of wine. This casual fine-dining spot has a cozy vibe with Spanish and Italian influences swirling with delicious American flavors.

We recommend the prosciutto-wrapped stuffed chicken breast or any of their wood-fired pizza.

Take-out and delivery options are also available.

To wrap up your weekend in Fargo, we recommend getting your sweat on with a local online yoga class. There are many classes available throughout the area, but all classes at Ecce Yoga are online and free right now.

Bloody Mary’s at Pounds

If you’re in need of some hair of the dog, the impressive Bloody Mary and Mimosa Bars at Pounds will have just the ticket, with their massive selection of build-your-own ingredients. You can pile veggies, pizza rolls, grilled cheese sandwiches, sausage, shrimp, chicken strips, cheese, and more into your glass, so your drink doubles as your meal (or you can order food alongside it).
