Day 1

Evening

Vinyl Taco

Start the weekend off with some authentic Mexican street food and margaritas. Catch up with the ladies at Vinyl Taco over small plate street tacos as vinyl records spin behind the bar. We recommend the fish tacos (the best in town!) or the barbacoa tacos for non-fish eaters. Make sure you order some margaritas as well, which are served with giant rosemary leaves.

Note: You must be 21 to enter and eat here.

TAK Music Venue

After you catch up with your girls, dance the night away at the TAK! The newest addition to the music scene, TAK has quickly become a place to play for bands of all variety, and you don’t have to be 21+ to enjoy it! A nice combination of originals and classic covers depending on the night.

Check the upcoming shows here.

Day 2

Morning

Young Blood Coffee Co.

After a night of dancing, you’ll need some energy for the day. Fargo’s craft coffee scene should be your first stop… and you can get more than caffeinated. The gourmet toast menu at Young Blood Coffee Co. will fill you up with something warm and (excuse the pun) toasty. Couple that with a hot cup of Joe and you’re ready to tackle your day.

Shopping in South Fargo

West Acres Mall

West Acres Mall is constantly updating and changing to bring you some of the best shopping experiences in the region. Great new shops open all of the time in the mall that your girl gang will adore. One of the most unique shops is the Minn Dak Market which features local and regional items including food, wine, and artisan gifts. You can hit up several big name brands like Express, Forever 21, Buckle, JC Penny, Gap, and more.

While you shop, check out the local art on display around the mall – West Acres has one of the largest collections of local art in the area (plus a working studio where a resident local artists creates their masterpieces!).

3902 13th Ave S, Fargo | (701) 282-2222

Leela + Lavender

Your next stop should be Leela + Lavender for all of your must-have fashion items. Try on a cute romper or go for the shoe collection to find your next favorite piece.

3265 45th St S, Suite 116, Fargo | (701) 532-0505

Willow District

Right next door, you’ll find Willow District; this shop was homegrown out of Fargo and has the coziest cardigans and other everyday wear. Shop till you drop here and then head next door for lunch.

3265 45th St S, Suite 124, Fargo | (701) 630-4766

Grab lunch at The Tavern

The Tavern has something for everyone, with their build-your-own salads, burgers, and pizzas, you will all be able to find a meal you love. If you’re not into the BYO style, we recommend the Tavern Fish Sandwich with the waffle fries and seasoned sour cream.

Afternoon/Evening

Grape Plains Wine Tours

After your fun morning of shopping, hop on one of the Grape Plains Wine Tours with your girls to tour four North Dakota wineries (and obviously try their wines). With two dates each month throughout the summer, there’s bound to be one (or two) that you and your gal pals can get on. Board the bus at the Fargo-Moorhead Visitors Center and then go on one of the routes to the wineries.

Get your tickets here.

2001 44th St S, Fargo | (701) 282-3653

Maxwells

After the winery tours, you’re bound to need some munchies. Maxwell’s is a great place to unwind after the big day and have some good food and maybe another glass of wine. This casual fine dining spot has a cozy vibe with a variety of American food.

We recommend the Lobster Fettuccine and the Berry Swirl Cheesecake for dessert.

Day 3

Morning

After your long day yesterday (and possibly your late night), relax this morning before starting on your fun Sunday plans.

Morning pick-me-up at Stumbeano’s Coffee Bar

Before brunch, stop by Stumbeano’s Coffee Bar for a cup of their incredible drip coffee made with beans they roast themselves. This hidden cafe can be found in the basement next to The Boiler Room off of Broadway (soon it will move into Fargo Brewing Company!).

Bloody Mary’s at Pounds

If you’re in need of some hair of the dog, the impressive Bloody Mary and Mimosa Bars at Pounds will have just the ticket, with their massive selection of build-your-own ingredients. You can pile veggies, pizza rolls, grilled cheese sandwiches, sausage, shrimp, chicken strips, cheese, and more into your glass, so your drink doubles as your meal (or you can order food alongside it).

To wrap up your weekend in Fargo, we recommend getting your sweat on at the Rooftop Yoga class that happens every other Sunday at noon. Enjoy a mimosa and stretch out any last minute stresses before you head home.
