A Guide to Pride in Fargo

We love to celebrate diversity and inclusion, and one of our favorite events that does just that is FM Pride Week. Fargo Pride takes place from August 12-15, 2021 throughout the community.

If you’re looking for information on the most colorful events in Fargo, you’ve come to the right place! You won’t want to miss a minute of Fargo Pride 2021, so use this guide to see where and when everything is happening.

Sunday, August 8

Drag Brunch

Kick-off the week’s activities with a Drag Brunch at Drekker Brewing Company. Tickets include a 12 oz. beer, brunch, and a drag show.

Thursday, August 12

Pride Skate Night

PRIDE kicks off with an all-ages skate at Skate City, skate to some fun tunes, and have fun with the community from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on August 12.

Registration is free but required to participate.

LGBTQ Trivia & Karaoke

Head to Rhombus Guys at 8 p.m. for some LGBTQ trivia with karaoke to follow! If either of these events does not interest you, head to the rooftop patio for a movie.

This event is all-ages until 9 p.m. and there is no cover.

Friday, August 13

Youth Pride Drag Show

A fun night of entertainment as the divas take the stage! This is an all-ages drag show, so bring out the whole family and enjoy the show.

Doors open at 6:30 & the show begins at 7 p.m.

Masks will be required since the show is all-ages.
No glitter is allowed in the event space.

Pride Dance Party

The Pride Dance Party is one of the highest energy parties you can go to in the year! Music starts at 10 p.m. with local DJs spinning tunes all night. 

$10 cover at the door, this is a 21+ event.

Saturday, August 14

Virtual Pride 5K

Run the 5k (3.1 miles) anytime on or before August 14 and upload the finish time on the website. All registered participants get an official Pride 5k t-shirt and a finisher medal.

This is an all-ages, virtual race to celebrate the FM LGBTQ community’s commitment to promoting positive activities and healthy living.

Pride in the Park

Come out to Pride in the Park to check out over 100 booths of vendors, merchants, business services, and more! There will be fun for the whole family like carnival games & prizes, face painting, and treats. There will be live music throughout the day from local artists as well. 

The Pride in the Park event is a one-stop shop for all things Pride swag so make sure to check it out!

Pride Block Party

Kick off the Pride Block Party at 5 p.m. with the “Parking Lot Party” with music, food trucks, and a full-service bar, and then get ready for an outdoor Drag Show featuring Alexis Mateo from RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 3 and performances from Minneapolis Queens Monica West and Genevee Love at 8:30 p.m.

Afterward, DJ Joyride will be cranking up the tunes for the rest of the night at Fargo Brewing Company. 

$15-40 cover at the door, this is a 21+ event.

Sunday, August 15

Interfaith Service

Join us at the Fargo Theatre for an all-ages, interfaith service starting with a reception at noon and then a service to follow at 12:30 p.m.

This is a free event and is open to all ages.

Pride Parade

Last but not least, the Pride Parade wraps up the weekend. Each and every year, Fargo-Moorhead businesses join in the parade to show their support for the LGBTQ+ community. 

The parade will start at NP Ave & Broadway at 2 p.m. and travel north to 3rd ave N near 5th St N.
