A Relaxed Art Weekend in Fargo

Fargo stakes its claim as the Arts Capital of the North, with a creative scene that’s welcoming, easy to explore, and never overwhelming. So why Fargo? You might be surprised by just how much is happening in this region. In 2025, there were nearly 375 concerts, performances, and live events. Studio Crawl alone showcased 36 artists across 15 different visual art forms.

The community is also home to the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony, multiple theatre groups, including Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre, Theatre B, and Trollwood Performing Arts School, as well as an opera, ballet, and choral arts groups. The Fargo-Moorhead Symphony, for example, includes 65 individuals, with 45 musicians residing right here in FMWF.

With ticket prices typically ranging from $40–$80 per adult, Fargo-Moorhead is an easy, welcoming way to experience a vibrant arts scene without the big-city crowds.
