We asked our Instagram followers what their ideal spring day itinerary would include. Here's what they said:
Yoga
It's always good to start the day with a little movement, and Fargo has lots of choices regarding yoga. For hot yoga, check out Yuj Yoga, the only infrared yoga studio in the FM area. Downtown Yoga is another fantastic choice for meditation, gentle yoga, and heated sculpt classes. Check their schedule for classes coming up.
Brunch
Fargo has many brunch options, and we recommend kicking off your culinary journey by doing just that. Get showered after your yoga sesh (or don't) and head to The Tavern for some build-your-own options like omelets, pancakes, and more, or Marge's Diner for bottomless mimosas and brunch/lunch options like sausage biscuit bites and hangover hashbrowns. Rosewild has joined the party with brunch cocktails and orange cinnamon rolls.
Hit the Trails
After what's sure to be a good meal, walk it off on one of Fargo's many trails. Lindenwood Park has miles to tackle with trails; enjoy the budding trees and wildlife as you listen to the flowing water of the river. Plus, multiple bridges bring you into Gooseberry Park across the river into Moorhead (snap a pic on the bridge on your way over as you're in two states at once!).
Golf
Next up on the itinerary, hit the links for a round of golf in the afternoon. There are many courses; for a more leisurely round, El Zagal has a quick 9-hole course that's great for beginners. For a step up, Prairiewood and Osgood are fantastic neighborhood courses that also have just 9-holes.
If you want to extend your round, Village Green and Rose Creek have similar yardage on an 18-hole course. At the same time, Edgewood is a premier course along the river in North Fargo, and Meadows has a sweeping prairie option with the longest yardage.
For something a little more unconventional, try Suite Shots. This golf & entertainment experience has 60 climate-controlled hitting Suites powered by the Toptracer Ranger software.
Brewery
You can't go wrong with local beer to wrap up your day. Fargo is chock-full of breweries, so take your pick and enjoy.
Hang out in Drekker Brewing or its new addition, Brewhalla, for the full food market experience. Another option is Junkyard's awesome patio to try their experimental beers or check out Fargo Brewing's upgraded taproom and in-house food truck. Swing Barrel has a more urban vibe, while Pixeled has many arcade games. Lastly, Icewind Brewing has excellent beers and is located just west of town in Mapleton, ND.
While hopping into breweries, download a free crafts & drafts passport and collect a stamp from each stop to receive a prize at the Visitors Center.
Spring has sprung in Fargo; get out there and enjoy. If this itinerary doesn't suit you, pick from the other spring-time itineraries.
