We asked our Instagram followers for help designing the perfect Fall itinerary in Fargo. Here's what they came up with:

Local Coffee Shop

Start the day at one of our many local coffee shops! Many of our followers chose this over a full breakfast, and we couldn't agree more!

There are yummy gourmet toasts from Twenty Below, mini donuts on every coffee at Beans, and tons of pastries at Third Drop and Atomic Coffee. You'll indeed find something to start your day on the right foot. Find the right spot with this guide to local Fargo coffee shops.

Lindenwood Park

Next, take a scenic walk or bike ride along the river in Lindenwood Park. The fall colors along the banks of the Red River make this park a fan favorite in Autumn.

Pro tip: the path that goes through Lindenwood continues along the river and even into Minnesota, so extend your ride and see much of the area simultaneously.

Pizza

Our followers chose to recommend Blackbird Pizza for lunch, and we 100% agree. These mouth-watering pizzas are cooked in a woodfire oven right before you—the perfect meal for a chilly day in the Fall. Make sure to stop by their second location inside Brewhalla.

Red River Market

If you're here on a Saturday, visit the Red River Market for some locally grown and made products. If you're not visiting over the weekend, check out other events around town, including multiple other farmer's markets.

Pumpkin Patch

Next, everyone recommends visiting one of the many pumpkin patches in the area. This classic Fall activity is the perfect afternoon activity for family time or the ideal Fall-like selfie.

Grab some hot apple cider and pumpkins, and hop on a horse-drawn carriage ride around the property. Check out the pumpkin-themed events in Fargo-Moorhead!

701 Eateries

Our followers recommend Praire Kitchen for dinner; we must admit they taste great. On the main floor of 701 Eateries, dishes celebrate local Scandinavian heritage with smorgasbord, Swedish meatballs, and even lefse.

One thing everyone can agree with is that Fall doesn't last long enough. Get out and enjoy it before preparing for the Winter!
