We asked our Instagram followers for help designing the perfect Fall itinerary in Fargo. Here’s what they came up with:
Local Coffee Shop
Start the day at one of our many local coffee shops! Many of our followers chose this over a full breakfast and we couldn’t agree more!
There are yummy gourmet toasts from Young Blood, mini donuts on every coffee at Beans, and tons of pastries at Third Drop and Atomic Coffee. You’re sure to find something to start your day off on the right foot. Find the right spot with this guide to local Fargo coffee shops.
Next up, take a bike ride or a walk along the river in Lindenwood Park. The fall colors along the banks of the Red River make this park a fan favorite in Autumn.
Pro tip: the path that goes through Lindenwood continues along the river and even into Minnesota, so extend your ride and see much of the area at the same time.
This hometown favorite is a Nordic-Jewish deli in the heart of Downtown Fargo. We didn’t disagree one bit when this one was chosen for the perfect lunch spot! Choose from open-faced bagel plates, bagel sandwiches, or hot soups for a deliciously filling meal.
Red River Market
If you’re here on a Saturday, visit the Red River Market for some locally grown and made products. If you’re not visiting over the weekend, check out other events going on around town including multiple other farmer’s markets.
Up next, everyone recommends visiting one of the many pumpkin patches in the area. This classic Fall activity is the perfect afternoon activity for some family time or the perfect Fall-like selfie.
Grab some hot apple cider, some pumpkins, and hop on a horse-drawn carriage ride around the property. Check out the pumpkin-themed events in Fargo-Moorhead!
For dinner, our followers chose to recommend Blackbird Pizza, and we 100% agree. These mouth-watering pizzas are cooked in a woodfire oven right in front of you. Perfect meal for a cool day in the fall.
One thing everyone can agree with is that Fall doesn’t last long enough. Get out enjoy it before preparing for the Winter!
