We asked and the locals answered: these are the best restaurants for brunch in Fargo-Moorhead.

1. Granite City

Coming in at number one, Granite City's Sunday spread isn't called the "Lawless Brunch" for nothing.

To start, you get infinite mimosas and Bloody Marys. You can go wild at two creation stations, one for designing your own donuts, the other for concocting a decadent omelet or breakfast sandwich.

Then, it's on to the carving table for slow-roasted, juicy prime rib. If you've still got room on your plate, an endless supply of bread, pastries, fruit, extra thick-cut bacon, and hashbrowns can fill in the gaps.

The Tavern touts its build-your-own plates every day of the week, but on Sundays it gets more fun.

For $17.00, you can go nuts building your ultimate brunch plate with things like fresh carved roast beef, pancakes from the made-to-order pancake bar, fresh skillet caramel rolls, fruit, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, biscuits & gravy... you get the picture.

This Irish pub deems its brunch, "Dinner in Dublin" because even though it's morning in the states, it's dinnertime on the Emerald Isle.

But don't worry, it's all amazing breakfast foods on the menu, including some traditional Irish options like Bangers & Eggs (sausages and eggs), Corned Beef Hash (oven-baked corned beef, diced potatoes, onions, and sauerkraut), and a Traditional Irish Breakfast (one sausage, cottage bacon, two eggs, baked beans, and grilled tomatoes).

Whatever breakfast entree you order also includes a free trip through the Bloody Mary and mimosa bar.

This local-favorite pub dishes out tasty brunch on weekends.

Bonus: Pounds Bloody Mary Bar

Saturdays & Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

While not technically brunch, the extensive mimosa, and Bloody Mary bar at Pounds will be more than enough to fill you up for the day.

You can load your glass with as much yummy stuff as will fit in it.

On the Bloody Mary side, that means veggies, grilled cheese slices, pizza rolls, fried chicken, pickles, shrimp, cheese, jerky, and more.
