Director of Convention Sales
The Director of Convention Sales leads the strategy and execution of efforts to attract conventions and meetings that drive economic impact for the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo community. Reporting to the President/CEO, this role oversees the convention sales team, develops competitive bids and client relationships, and represents the destination to meeting planners and industry partners. The Director is responsible for setting sales goals, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with local hotels, venues, and community stakeholders to position the destination competitively. As the community's new convention center moves forward, the role will also serve as a key liaison with convention center leadership to align sales strategies, support demand generation, and ensure successful events that deliver long-term value to the region.

Senior Manager of Convention Sales
The Senior Manager of Convention Sales is responsible for generating leads and securing convention and large meeting business that drives hotel bookings and economic impact for the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo community. This role proactively identifies and pursues high-value group opportunities, manages key client accounts, and builds strong relationships with meeting planners and industry partners. The Senior Manager executes strategic sales plans, represents the destination at trade shows and industry events, and collaborates with hotels, venues, and community stakeholders to deliver competitive proposals and successful events. As the community's convention center project advances, this position will also work closely with convention center leadership and local partners to ensure coordinated sales efforts and a seamless client experience.
