Moorhead Parks & Recreation

Moorhead Parks and Recreation manages a wide variety of programming, facilities, and park land. The City of Moorhead boasts 46 parks, miles of trails and sidewalks, and a variety of facilities. The mission of the Parks and Recreation Department is to improve the quality of life for Moorhead citizens by providing a comprehensive system of parks, recreation, cultural, and human service programs that encourage health, fitness, relaxation, and cultural enrichment, as well as providing opportunities for conservation, education, and community involvement.
