Viking Ship Park has a lighted 1.5 mile Cross Counry Ski trail.

South Elmwood Park offers a biking trail, softball/baseball fields, and a playground to enjoy in the summer months. There is also a Cross Country Skiiing on a 1 mile trail.

Traditional trail. Prairiewood Trail Head is located at Prairiewood Drive and Westgate Circle. The trail is 1.8 miles.

Renezvous Park offers 1.2 miles of Cross Country Ski trails, ice rink and a warming house.

North Elmwood Park offers Cross Country Skiiing on a 1/2 mile trail, ice rink and a warming house.

MB Johnnson Park offers miles of wooded trails along the Red River, boat ramp, shelter, picnic tables and playground. Iwen Park features two disc golf courses, a boat ramp with access to the Red River, fishing spots, mountain bike trails and cross country ski trails in the winter. The park offers a quick 9-hole disc golf course and a full 18-hole championship course.

Edgewood Golf Course is a wonderland of wintertime fun offering cross-country skiing, ski rental, snowshoe rental and sledding hill.
