What's New in Fargo-Moorhead

Newman Outdoor Field is home to the FM RedHawks, an independent minor league baseball in the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball Clubs.

The Ellig Sports Complex has played host to the North Dakota Special Olympics and professional soccer exhibitions.

Tharaldson Baseball Complex is adjoined to the Anderson Softball Complex and has shared amenities with them. It is owned and operated by the Fargo Park District.

Matson Field is operated by Moorhead Parks & Rec department. It is across the river from Jack Williams Stadium, which is home to Fargo American Legion Post 2 Baseball, essentially making it a two-field complex.

Mickelson Softball Fields are just three miles northeast of downtown Fargo. This beautiful softball complex has been renovated as part of the Oak Street Levee Project. The facility is owned and operated by the Fargo Park District and features a newly renovated chalet.

The newest softball complex in the Fargo-Moorhead area featuring 18 fields which includes an eight-diamond championship ring.

Jack Williams Stadium has long been considered one of the finest American Legion baseball stadiums in the country. Built exclusively for American Legion baseball, Jack Williams Stadium received rave reviews when Fargo Post 2 first hosted the American Legion Baseball World Series in 1983. Located two miles northwest of downtown Moorhead is the Centennial Athletic Complex. This multi-sport facility is owned and operated by Moorhead Park & Recreation.

The Southside Regional Park is a multi-sport facility located in south Moorhead.
