Fargo-Moorhead’s Force to play for Clark Cup
The Fargo Force are on fire! They have successfully made it to the final series of the USHL season and looking to secure the Clark Cup. The final series of a long season comes to Fargo-Moorhead’s Urban Plains Center one last time on May 7th and possibly if needed, May 8th. It is a best of 5 series to take home the championship and if my visit to see a Force game is any indication it is going to be a hard-hitting, crazy good time!
This is of course hockey country. The fans are enthusiastic about their Force and when all 5,000 seats are packed the UP Center is rocking. If you find yourself in the area and want to catch a great game in a fantastic facility surrounded by energetic and passionate fans be sure to check out the Fargo Force. Tickets are very reasonable starting at just $6. The atmosphere is really electric. I was having fun just watching how into it the spectators got. Certainly high-energy would be how I would describe it.
The play didn’t disappoint either. Taking a seat right next to the boards I was entertained by some really hard, aggressive hockey. Seeing the boards sway after a big hit echoed through the arena was quite fun I do have admit. Beside just the game and great fans the UP Center provides a plethora of concessions, beverages and merchandise. The experience was such a fun one that I almost bought myself a Fargo Force jersey to proudly sport around town. I can’t wait to see this game next week. I’m probably just going to have to buy one next time!
Check out this footage from the night I took in a game. The playoff atmosphere is going to in full force on the 7th.
