Stumbeano’s Coffee Bar

This hidden gem may be the trickiest to find, but it’s well worth the search. Tucked away in the lower level of the iconic Loretta Building on Broadway, mismatched wooden tables and vintage metal chairs furnish this underground cafe. Everything they serve has been imported from within a 250-mile radius or made in-house; teas from Minneapolis, pastries and breads from Fergus Falls, and steel cut oats from Middle River, Minnesota, are a testament to that. The coffee beans and flavored syrups are roasted and prepared in-house, so of course their most popular drinks are their drip-and-pour coffees (although we’ve heard the lavender latte is exceptional as well).
