Jen’s Bakery

This local shop bakes incredible bread and cookies but also serves sandwiches and salads (plus plenty of sweet bread and pastries for dessert). They produce bread stretched with the correct amount of precision and care, folded ever so gently, and treated with the utmost care. Carefully watched and listened to. While they do not have the equipment like the mass producers do, they create our steam hearth oven the old-fashioned way. The result is always well worth it. Cookie varieties include cherry cheesecake, turtle, rootbeer float, frosted sugar, chocolate chunk, red velvet, salted caramel dark chocolate (#1 seller), peanut butter cup, monster (gluten-free), and many, many more!
