Perfect day in Fargo : Tracey’s itinerary

This itinerary for a perfect day in Fargo comes from the Fargo-Moorhead CVB’s Administrative Assistant, Tracey. Find out more about Tracey here.

Tracey’s perfect day in Fargo would start like any other day: With coffee. She would probably make it a personal goal to hit up ALL of the coffee places in Fargo throughout the day. First, she’d grab a “Big Sandy” from Sandy’s Donuts, and then make her way to the Red Raven Espresso Parlor for an enormous dark roast and then sit and read on their lovely patio for an hour or two.

For lunch, tacos are always a good idea, so she would stay downtown and hit up Taco Bros for a “Trust You Bro” platter. After feeling properly fed, she would hit up some of the sweet downtown establishments like Unglued, Proper & Prim, Others, and Zandbroz.

After that, a brewery tour would be in order, so she would check out Fargo Brewing Company for an Iron Horse APA with mango. Then it would be about time for more coffee (Nutella iced mocha from Twenty Below!), a Chocolate Tower from Nichole’s Fine Pastry, and then a walk through Historic 8th Street and Island Park with her husband and dog.

After that, it would be time for supper, so she would probably go to the Boiler Room or Rhombus Guys, followed by a movie at the Fargo Theatre.

Then, maybe live music at Dempsey’s Irish Pub if the coffee hadn’t worn off yet, or drinks at Mezzaluna for a laid-back yet classy vibe.
