Frostival is a six-week celebration of winter fun including more than 40 family-friendly events across Fargo. This year's Frostival takes place from January 13 - February 27, 2021. Fargo and its sister cities Moorhead and West Fargo will be hopping with winter-themed fun that will have you believing #ColdIsCool.

Geocaching Event - A Virtual Tour of Fargo's oldest park

Island Park | January 13 - February 27

Whether you’re a seasoned geocacher or just looking to get outside, you’re invited to bundle up and take a virtual tour of Fargo’s oldest park! Complete the Adventure during Frostival to receive a free event pathtag (while supplies last) and the chance to win gift cards to local businesses. 

This free, fun, and family-friendly Adventure features 10 unique locations and can easily be completed in an afternoon using the Geocaching Adventure app, available for free on Apple and Android.

Skate Social & Movie Event

The Lights on Sheyenne | January 23, 1-7 p.m.

Join us at The Lights on Sheyenne for open skate, fire pits, and a movie on the big screen. There will be multiple sessions with a limit of 50 people per session. Stay tuned for the movie title announcement and open session times. 

Uniquely Fargo: Color Clash

Rheault Farm | January 23, 3-4 p.m.

Hunger Games themed snowball fight.

Outdoor Gear Garage Sale, Bonfire building, and Bonfire & Booze event

Moorhead American Legion | February 6

Join Nature of the North at the American Legion for a gear garage sale to get all of your winter gear needs covered and then stay for a bonfire building workshop and "hot jams and drinks" after the lesson is over.

Winter Wonderland w/ EHP Performance

Join FMCT in a return to the past for their Frostival Musical Revue! Enjoy 30-Minutes of singing and dancing from familiar storybook characters with plenty of opportunities for photos with your favorites directly following each show. Warm-up with something toasty from our concessions.

Frostival Celebration of Winter Food Tales

One of Frostival's most popular events, gather your supplies and test your hand at creating a cardboard sled and then race down with the whole fam! There are many different ways to win, from crossing the finish line first, to designing the most fun sled!

Frostival “Ice Bowl” Disc Golf Tournament: No wimps, no whiners. This disc golf tournament takes place in the dead of winter to bring awareness to hunger in America.
