Virtual Artist Talk: Kristin Sarette

Using the chromatic spectrum of vibrant colors blended into their complements, Kristen Sarette’s latest exhibition of lithographic work gives us the opportunity to experience color and form saturated in a never-failing sense of optimism. Exhibited through the whimsical construction of print media and wondrous visions in three-dimensions, works in To Practice These Principles in All My Affairs: Kristin Sarette were created during a time of self-introspection and redirection. The resulting works allow the viewer to find the relevance in the totality of spaces and energy between transformation—continuing cyclically, with the present influencing the future, and moving forward.
Kristin Sarette currently is living and working in Logan, Utah, and was born and raised in the mountains of central New Hampshire. She has traveled and lived extensively throughout the United States. She is a graduate of Tamarind Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she received an abundance of her education in collaboration and lithographic printing. She holds a BFA in Printmaking from Plymouth State University, New Hampshire, and MFA in Printmaking from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana.
