TJ (Tanael Joachim) & Lucy Zarns – Early Show

TJ is a Haitian born stand-up comedian who is currently based in New York City. He has made appearances on Gotham Comedy Live (AXS TV) and Good Day New York (FOX5). TJ has a very laid back, smooth, and conversational style. He jokes about race, society’s idiosyncrasies, and the inherent contrast between life in Haiti and America.

TJ performs regularly at the Comedy Cellar, Gotham Comedy Club, and all the main clubs in NYC. He has opened for Janelle James, Colin Quinn, and Sean Patton. He has been a featured performer at the Netflix Is A Joke Fest. He’s also performed at the Laughing Skull Festival, the Underground Festival, Rogue Island Comedy Festival. Lucy Zarns is a Minneapolis-based stand-up comedian. She was named one of the 5 Comedians to Watch in 2024 by Racket Magazine and in 2023 was a finalist in the Funniest Person contests at Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy, Sisyphus Brewing, and The Comedy Corner Underground. She is also a producer and co-host of the monthly show Punchline Punchout at Sisyphus Brewing. When not onstage, Lucy can be found watching old episodes of Survivor with her husband and dog.
