Solving the Mystery of North America’s Ancient Past: Author Visit with Alison Pearce Stevens
Join us at the Main Library on Wednesday, September 28 at 6:30 p.m. when Alison Pearce Stevens, author of the children’s book “Rhinos In Nebraska,” helps to uncover the scientific mysteries surrounding the Nebraska Ashfall Fossil Beds.
Our continent used to look very different than it does today—but how do we know? What were rhinos doing in the middle of North America? Why did the horses have three toes? And where did all that ash come from, anyway?
This event is geared towards kids in 4th grade and older. Books will be available for purchase. No pre-registration is required.
