River Paddling Excursion: Birds of the Red

Bring a keen eye and ear as the Audubon Great Plains leads us on the Red, searching for birds perched and in flight!

A leisurely paced group paddle with local experts sharing their knowledge of the Red River. All skill levels are welcome. The excursion begins at 6:00 p.m. with the basics of canoeing, kayaking, and safety. Please arrive by 5:30 p.m. to sign in and get your equipment (life jackets, paddles, and vessels) ready to hit the water.

Pre-registration is required. $10 per person if you are providing your vessel, $15 per person if needing canoe or kayak rental (rentals available on a first-come, first-served basis), and ages five and under free.

Pre-registration is required: Register early as space is limited. Register at moorheadparks.com or call 218.299.5340.
