Plant and Seed Exchange

As we celebrate spring, many of us are turning to gardening and digging in the dirt as a way to stay centered and connected to the earth at this time. Plains Art Museum’s third annual plant and seed exchange will look a little different this year: we are extending the exchange over 3 days, May 17-19, to support safe social distancing practices. Stop by the Plains Art Museum parking lot any time 9am-7pm on Sunday, May 17 – Tuesday, May 19 and participate in this “slow” plant + seed exchange.

How to participate: bring some things, take some things. For example, if you bring two plants, take two plants. Please bring your plants in containers of some kind, and please label your plants to help the next gardener grow successfully! Include plant name and planting info if possible (does it prefer sun or shade? When does it fruit or blossom?). Avoid sharing invasive varieties.
