Lil’ Angler Fishing Clinic and Derby

Catch a big one from the Red River! This is a FREE event.

*The fishing clinic goes from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m., and the derby goes from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.*
Learn about casting, knot tying, fish identification, and more at the fishing clinic. All (adults included) are welcome and encouraged to participate!

Youth participants 13 and younger can compete and try to reel in a big one during the derby! It is encouraged to bring fishing poles (but a limited number will be available to borrow). Adult supervision is required. A fishing license is not required for youth 15 and under. This is a catch-and-release program. Bait will be supplied. A short award ceremony will follow the derby. Free hotdogs will be served while supplies last.
