Murder Gone Wrong – An Alfred Hitchcock Spoof

Harwood Prairie Playhouse is excited to invite you to another premiere as we stage our 2023 production of Murder Wrong Gone. Margot has hired a hitman to kill her husband, Ned Bates, but complications ensue when the wrong person dies. When a nosey neighbor across the courtyard sees everything that’s going on in the condo, there is only one thing for Ned and Stella to do – pretend the dead body is still alive. All should go as planned as long as the doorman, maintenance man, and the two nosey neighbors keep to themselves. Somehow, I don’t think that’s going to happen. With a barrage of unique characters and a set straight out of a Hitchcock movie, the scene is set for a night of laughter and suspense.

Fans of Rear Window, Dial M for Murder, Psycho, or any other Hitchcock movies, won’t want to miss this crazy farce. The show is sprinkled with Hitchcock titles, allusions, and references to keep you on the edge of your seat. See the show and enjoy some knee-slapping comedy as we return to our HPP tradition of fast-paced, door-slamming hijinks.

Shoe dates are March 10, 11, 17, 18, 23-25 at 7:30 pm and March 12, 19, and 25 at 2:00 pm—tickets are available at www.prairieplayhouse.org or by calling 7012986807.
