GuildSomm: Blind Tasting Seminar

Join us for a one-of-a-kind blind-tasting wine experience. Together we have partnered with GuildSomm, a nonprofit international membership organization for wine professionals that elevates the wine and beverage community through industry education, to bring our local hospitality industry and community the opportunity to further their education of the wine industry.

Each attendee will receive their kit of a curated selection of 6 wines, with a tasting mat and instructions on using the site/app to evaluate these wines. Each bottle is 187 ml, which is about 6.3 fluid ounces. Wines that are benchmarks of the regions and varietals they represent are selected by the GuildSomm’s panel of Master Sommeliers.

Our guest speaker will share tasting frameworks that work well for various learning styles, allowing attendees to taste live and give direct feedback during the course. This course will benefit anyone taking early-stage certifications or working to develop their understanding of deductive tasting methods.

After the course, each attendee will receive a certificate of completion.
