FROSTIVAL: Fun at the Frozen Fortress
Embrace the cool of winter with a day of outdoor activities and events: The Moorhead Business Association’s Snow Sculpture Contest, free cross-country ski and snowshoe rentals, outdoor games, a hot chocolate station, a marshmallow roast, a scavenger hunt, and much more frosty fun! Register for free activities, including an Interpretive Snowshoe Hike hosted by River Keepers, Dance Attack, and a meditation circle! Schedule of events:
11 am: River Keepers Interpretive Snowshoe Hike
1 pm: Dance Attack hosted by Total Balance Fitness
2 pm: Meditation Circle hosted by Marina Yoga and Massage (Dress warm and bring a yoga mat or chair! We will learn about the basics of breathwork, embracing our surroundings, and gaining strength from nature as we focus on being mindful. All ages are welcome.)
2:30 pm: MBA Snow Sculpture Competition winner announced!
Chili Plus: Serving a hot meal of chili and hot dogs in the Hjemkomst building to those attending the Fun at Frozen Fortress and Snow Sculpture Competition. There will be toppings for you to customize your chilies like sour cream, shredded cheese, diced green peppers, and more.
