Fargo advertising agency, H2M Brand Haus, is excited to bring a battle of the burgers to downtown Fargo where participating restaurants prepare themselves for culinary combat.


14 downtown Fargo restaurants have sharpened their culinary skills to compete in the ultimate hamburger throw-down. The competition kicks off June 1, 2023, and runs through June 30, 2023, a whole month to sample the finest burgers, all within walking distance of each other. Create your burger adventure!

Decide their fate and cast your vote after you’ve sampled some of the most unique and mouth-watering burgers you won’t find anywhere else.

Participating Restaurants

Beer & Fish – Bailey’s Bang Bang: 70/30 Brisket Chuck Fried in Sriracha, Topped with Caramelized Barbecue Onion Jam, Bang Bang Sauce, American Cheese, Fresh Jalapeños, Asian Slaw, and Bang Bang Powder. Served with a piece of batter-fried shrimp.

Blarney Stone Pub – Raspberrry Jalapeño Popper: An 8 oz. 80/20 Certified Angus Beef Patty on Top of a House Grilled Bun, Topped with Beer Battered Jalapeño Slices, Roasted Jalapeño, Garlic Cream Cheese, Smoked Cheddar Cheese, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Fried Onions, and Signature Raspberry Chipotle Sauce.

The Boiler Room – Uf-dough Fry Bread: All Beef Patty with Cheddar Cheese Deep Fried in House Fry Bread Topped with Cheddar Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, and Housemade Sweet Pepper Aioli.

Cowboy Jack’s – Dakota Prairie Fire: 1/2 lb. All-Beef Patty on a Brioche Bun Toasted in a Garlic Chili Oil. Topped with Gouda Cheese, Jalepeño Bacon, Cowboy Candied Jalepeños, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Pickles, and House Hot Sauce.

JL Beers – S’more: JL Beers Signature Patty Topped with Marshmallows, Milk Chocolate, Graham Crackers, and Bacon.

Marge’s Diner – Hangover Melt: 1/3 lb. All-Beef Patty on Sourdough Bread Topped with White American Cheese, Yellow American Cheese, Housemade Pickles, Housemade Mustard, Mortadella Bologna, Lettuce, and Salt & Vinegar Potato Chips.

Mezzaluna – Mezzaluna: Butter-Infused Burger Patty Topped with Housemade French Onion Dip, Dill Pickles, Tomato Jam, and Nueske’s Cherrywood Bacon

NoBull Smokehouse – Pit Master: Chopped Brisket Chuck Burger Topped with Housemade Wrapped Onion Ring, Cheddar Cheese, and Housemade Sweet Pickles.

The Old Broadway – Sunrise: 6 oz. Hand-Crafted Patty in a Fresh Ground Coffee and Brown Sugar Rub on a Ciabatta Roll, Topped with Crispy Bacon Aioli, Lettuce, Tomato, Bacon, and an Over-Easy Egg.

Rosewild – Rosewild: Sakura Beef Patty with American Cheese, Smoked Aioli, Flat Top Onions, and Tomato.

Sidestreet Grille& Pub – Big Hawaiian: Fresh Patty and Canadian Bacon on a Deli Bun Topped with Fresh Raw Pineapple Ring, Swiss Cheese, Mauii Original Sauce, and Bacon.

Sons of Norway – Uffda: Two 1/4 lb. All-Beef Patties on a Brioche Bun topped with American Cheese, Pickled Red Onions, Bacon, and Lingonberry Ketchup.

The Toasted Frog – Bacon Jam: 1/2 lb. All-Beef Patty on a Brioche Bun Topped with Apple Bacon Jam, Arugula, Pickle Pepper, and Dill Feta Schmear.

Fargo VFW Club – The Maverick: Two, 3oz. Hand-Pressed Patties on a Potato Bun Topped with Cheddar Cheese, Bacon, Fried Shallot Straws, Bourbon Molasses Sauce, and Strawberry Jalapeño Jam.
