Christkindlmarkt

Folkways invite you to celebrate the holiday season at Christkindlmarkt, Fargo’s German Christmas market. Four days of festive cheer in the Outdoor Winter Wonderland, Food Tent, Gift Market, and Beer Hall, At the Fargo Civic Center. With food, live musical performances, art demonstrations, mulled wine, holiday treats, and activities for the kids, you’ll feel like you’ve walked into a European winter wonderland.

About Folkways

Folkways is a local community-building organization known for bringing captivating events like the Red River Market and Night Bazaar to downtown Fargo.

They believe that culture is the sum of conversations within its community. More than politicians and program leaders, they view the small-business shopkeepers, baristas, bartenders, and artists as keepers of a community’s culture. After gaining an understanding of the state of Fargo’s community from the ground floor, they discover ways to serve culture creators and engage the community.
