BANFF CENTRE MOUNTAIN FILM FESTIVAL

Nature of the North could not be more excited to host North Dakota’s VERY FIRST appearance of the BANFF Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour! Help us fill the Fargo Theatre with outdoor minded folks and inspire our community to GET OUTDOORS!

The annual Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival (held in Banff, Alberta Canada each year) accepts hundreds of mountain films into it’s 9 day competition. Every year the films feature a range of styles and themes, including climbing, skiing, kayaking, biking, adventure, culture and the environment.

After the main festival in BANFF, they take the top films on a world tour to over 275 communities in over 30 countries! This year… They will be stopping in good ole Fargo, North Dakota!

This year’s tour will feature a collection of the most inspiring and thought-provoking action, environmental and adventure mountain films. Traveling from remote landscapes and cultures to up close and personal with adrenaline-packed action sports, the 2019 World Tour promises to be an exhilarating and provocative exploration of the mountain world.

Come join our local Outdoor Community and become a part of the LARGEST OUTDOOR Film Festival that our community has ever seen!
