Adam Bursack Closing Reception

Please join us at the Spirit Room in Gallery II for Adam Bursack’s “Contaminated Nightmares,” a collection of mixed media pieces exploring dark, grungy undertones with a harmonious finish.

Adam Bursack is a (mostly) self-taught artist and photographer from Fargo, ND. He is also a writer, musician, and radio DJ. A history of vivid dreams and nightmares has always informed his work, and “nightmarish” is one of the descriptions heard most frequently in relation to his work. “The reference to contamination in the title actually refers most to the mixed media theme. Elements of one medium drift into the next; biological combines with the mechanical, digital with analog, even oil with water.”

The closing reception will be in person. For those friends not ready to join us we will be broadcasting our artist talk via Facebook Live followed by a walk-through of the exhibition.

“Contaminated Nightmares” is made possible through funding in part by North Dakota Council on the Arts and the Arts Partnership.
