If you happen to find yourself in Fargo-Moorhead this weekend don’t be surprised if you start seeing zombies. Yeah, zombies. But rest assured that they are not real zombies. They are alive but they are not undead. The zombies you will see are simply people dressed up as zombies taking part in one of many annual events in Fargo-Moorhead called the “Zombie Pub Crawl.” This year the event is taking place on Saturday, May 15th, 2010. This is a fun opportunity to check out some of the downtown F-M area hot spots like Duffys, Sports Bar, Rooters, Bismarck, Empire, Dempsey’s and the Aquarium. These are the “local taverns” and several have plans to put up some of the best local music too.
Instead of running for the hills you might actually consider joining in the fun. It is certainly something different and you’ll likely meet some interesting people while enjoying a weekend strolling, or maybe limping throughout historic downtown Fargo-Moorhead. Of course you don’t have to dress up like a zombie, but why not? There are some special deals for the zombies that the normal folk aren’t going to be able to take advantage of.

Do you have tips for people wanting to become a zombie? Have you taken part in the event before? We’d love to hear your thoughts and comments. Have fun. Be safe!
