Haunted Houses

Weekends in October & Halloween Night

Take a walk through the darkest and most dangerous woods in the FM area at the Haunted Farm or head into the maze of cornfields at Acres of Terror while a deranged bus driver gives you a spin. Each twist and turn is full of more hair-raising and spooky characters who are sure to frighten you.

Pumpkin Patches

Weekends in October

Check out both Lil Bitz Pumpkin Patch and Buffalo River Pumpkin Patch for a great fall experience for the whole family. Both have carriage rides, pick-your-own pumpkins, and many other family-friendly attractions.

Nooks and Crannies Flashlight Tour

October 10 & 17

Built in 1883, the Comstock House sits empty in Fargo’s sister city, Moorhead, filled with antique furnishings and plenty of nooks and crannies.

During this guided tour, the lights are off, and you’ll wander through dark rooms with flashlights as your only illumination. You’ll also gain access to parts of the house otherwise unseen… like the basement and the attic.

Paranormal Investigations

October 11, 18, & 25

Visitors and volunteers alike have reported phenomena at Bonanzaville that cannot be easily explained. These tours will allow you to move beyond museum barriers in teams of 6 and discover for yourself.

Buildings included in the investigations are the Brass Rail Saloon, the Houston Mansion, the Bjerklie Pharmacy, and the Burlington Northern Passenger Car. EMF detectors and voice boxes will be provided for each group. Attendees will also be permitted to bring in their own approved equipment.

Sweeny Todd

The musical thriller that is Sweeny Todd is a perfect night out during the Halloween season. The Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre has promised not to shy away from the horror, so buckle in for this bloody performance.

Rocky Horror Picture Show

The Rocky Horror Picture Show takes over Fargo Theatre’s Classic Film Series with an explosive performance. This is not for the faint at heart, but it’s definitely for cult film fanatics. The show starts at 11 p.m. as it is strictly only for adults.
