It’s not just an airplane hangar with some old planes in it. The Fargo Air Museum is unique in that all the planes still fly and not only do they fly, they are nicely painted. One of the first things I notice when I walk in the museum is how colorful it is. The planes, the flags, and the blue sky brighten the building making it very inviting for visitors (especially children). In addition to being fun to look at, the museum is very informative. Whether you are very well acquainted with aircraft or know hardly anything about it, you’ll likely learn something while taking in all the Fargo Air Museum has to offer. You can see a variety of different aircraft at this museum including a P-51 Mustang, Warbirds, TBM Avenger, EAA Wright flyer, and much more! This is also a hands-on museum so instead of seeing a bunch of signs that read “Do Not Touch,” you are welcome to climb up in and pretend to pilot aircraft such as the Huey Helicopter!
