You may be familiar with the saying “less is more”. Well, that’s surely the case with Fargo’s Hector International Airport. Leave the hustle and bustle behind and rest easy knowing this airport has all the amenities you need for travel and none of the hurried chaos that comes with flying.

BY THE NUMBERS

Five gates

The number of gates that line the terminal, making it difficult to get lost or need to run from gate to gate. Stretch your legs before a long flight, but no need to sprint.

Twenty-minute wait time

The number of minutes it’ll take you to get through security. Yes, you read that right, with the lessened number of passengers flying through Fargo, the two-lane security line won’t take you long to get through. And if you’re lucky enough to have TSA PreCheck, you betcha it’ll be closer to 10 minutes or less!

Speaking of security, we know the health and safety of you and your meeting attendees is at the top of your list of priorities. Same here. The Fargo Airport is taking extra precautions to minimize the risk of further spread of the COVID-19 virus with stringent cleaning and disinfecting processes in high touch areas throughout the passenger terminal. The Airport Authority is closely monitoring Travel Guidance from the State officials as well as from the Centers for Disease Control, and the World Health Organization.

Sixteen flights per day

The number of daily flights that arrive and depart to major hub cities around the continental US on Allegiant, American, Delta, Frontier, and United airlines. Book your seat for non-stop service to connect in places like Minneapolis, Chicago, or Denver. With one layover, you’ll be here before you know it! Seasonal service is offered to six other destinations.

WHILE YOU WAIT

Shops and Food

While you wait, there are a few options before and after you get through security. The SkyDine Restaurant and Lounge as well as Subway offer a full menu, otherwise, a grab-n-go deli and snack kiosk is open for all departing travelers.

Stock up on North Dakota products, North Dakota State University gear, or that collectible item you must find when you travel at the gift shop after you land or pack it into your carry-on on your way home to remember your awesome time in Fargo!

Entertainment

To create a relaxing ambiance, local artists and musicians have made their splash at the Hector International Airport with ArtWORKS at the Airport. This series of on-going exhibits express who we are as a community through paintings, photography, and sculptures, celebrating the Midwest agriculture or landscape for instance.

Starting up again in June 2021, musicians are scheduled to make weekly appearances to welcome you or send you on your way with a smile on your face, and your toes tapping!
