10 great Fargo-Moorhead photos of 2016
It was another eventful year in Fargo-Moorhead! Here are a few of our favorite photos from 2016 events and happenings in the area.
1. The Sheep
In 2015, we started out our list of top photos with a goat, this year it’s a sheep, a Jacob Sheep. The Red River Zoo is home to these adorable (and expressive) sheep.
2. Tailgating
If it’s a Saturday morning in the fall and there’s an NDSU home football game, chances are you’ll find these parking lots full of green and yellow.
3. Powwow
In May, the first FM Crossroads Powwow was held at Scheels Arena. The dancers’ regalia is truly stunning.
4. Fair Day
Blue skies with a Ferris Wheel on the horizon at the Red River Valley Fair.
5. Stroll through a vineyard

6. Street Fair

7. Streets Alive

8. Baby in The Woodchipper
For the 20th anniversary of the movie, Fargo, we hosted a party at the Fargo Theatre. The Woodchipper was there for a photo op and this baby seized the opportunity.
9. Festive Depot
The old Fargo depot decorated beautifully.
10. Faces of Frostival
2016 was the first year of the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo area’s winter festival, Frostival. The event features outdoor competitions, and fantastic costumes like the one pictured below are encouraged.
