Fargo-Moorhead Studio Crawl this weekend

This weekend regional and local artists and studios will be on full display during the annual event called, “Studio Crawl.”  On Saturday and Sunday, October 2nd & 3rd  more than 35 artists will open their studio doors and let you check out their creations and processes.  This event in in its 7th year and has quickly become a premier arts events in the area.

Not only is the art great, but so is the adventure. The Studio Crawl is the perfect reason to get out and tour the FM area.  You can download and print the map, then as you cruise from studio to studio, or gallery to gallery, or studio to gallery you can really see the best of the metro and Red River Valley.  Plus, the fall colors are still holding their own!  What could be better than getting out and enjoying the gorgeous fall weather we are being spoiled with this year!?

So basically, I am just encouraging you to plan on taking a cruise this weekend.  Who knows, maybe you will locate those holiday gifts a couple months early…while at the same time supporting local artists!  Doesn’t that sound like a great deal?

Oh, and the best part, all the studios are open and admission is free of charge to the public.  That is pretty sweet.

If you want a little taste test of what you will be able to see the Fargo-Moorhead Visual Arts group has set up a gallery of some of the things on display this weekend.

Have you checked out the Studio Crawl before? Going this year? We’d love to hear your comments that encourage others to go check it out too!
