Meet our Director of Sports, Steve Saxlund
Steve joined the Fargo-Moorhead CVB team in March of 2008. He graduated from North Dakota State University (NDSU) in 2001 with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and in 2005 with a Master's degree in Sports and Recreation Management. During his time at NDSU, he became the most successful NCAA wrestler in Bison history with three NCAA national championships and one runner-up finish.
If you need assistance planning or organizing your event, Steve brings world-class talent to the table. Steve serves as the co-director of one of the largest high school wrestling tournaments in the country: the “Rumble on the Red Wrestling Championships.” His experience with event logistics, unique requirements of athletes, coaches and spectators, along with extensive knowledge of the F-M area ensure record-breaking success for your sporting event.
