New FM CVB Blog showcases Fargo Moorhead destination |

| FARGO, ND; April 12, 2010—The Celebrity Walk of Fame outside the Fargo-Moorhead Convention & Visitors Bureau (FM CVB) is one of the destinations featured in the book Amazing and Unusual USA. That fact, along with a tour of the Fargo-Moorhead attraction, was featured in a recent blog post on the new “Visit Fargo-Moorhead” blog launched by the FM CVB. Weekly posts will give potential visitors and local residents an insider’s look at area attractions, events, hot spots and travel tips. The new blog is the next step in the ongoing mission of the FM CVB to showcase the area as a destination. “This blog is a natural progression in communicating with people interested in our community,” said Brian Matson, FM CVB’s Marketing Director, and the main blogger on the site, “The internet gave us a new marketing medium, now social marketing has changed the way that people use the internet. This blog gives our marketing efforts a more personal touch.” The site took two months to research and complete, and was a collaborative effort of the FM CVB and Flint Communications of Fargo. The Fargo-Moorhead Convention & Visitors Bureau is a non-profit organization that promotes Fargo, North Dakota, and Moorhead, Minnesota, as a destination for visitors, tour groups, business travel, conventions, sporting events and trade shows.
